Admission information for International Medicine Program

Not all seats have been filled, therefore, the online application will be open again from July 22, 2019 to August 18, 2019. 

 

The additional entrance exam will take place on August 22, 2019. 

 

The results will be published on August 30, 2019.

 

The application process will start on April 15 and end on July 31, 2019.

In order to be eligible for admission candiates must obtain at least 60% of all admission points [180 points]. Please see the applicable requirements depending if a candidate graduated from high school in one of EU OECD EFTA countries or not. After creating an account, making the payment of the application fee and uploading the documents please wait for the results or come for the entrance exam if needed. If you apply for two programs please note that you need to pay the application fee for both of them. The results will be published on July 8, 2019. There will be one list for all candidates.

 

In case of not filling all available seats the additional application process will take place between August 1 and September 30, 2019.

In order to be eligible for admission candiates must obtain at least 50% of all admission points [150 points]. Please see the applicable requirements depending if a candidate graduated from high school in one of EU OECD EFTA countries or not.

Full license to practice medicine

All cadidates are obliged to check themselves the regulations concerning obtaining the license to practice medicine in the country where they plan to work.

 

According to the Polish law, in order to obtain full qualifications leading to obtaining the right to practice the profession, a person with the Polish “Lekarz” (MD) or “Lekarz Dentysta” (DDS) degree diploma must still pass the Physician Final Examination (LEK) and Dentist Final Examination (LDEK) as well as complete an obligatory post-graduate internship (staż podyplomowy) in Polish that lasts 13 months (for MD) and 12 months (for DDS). Only after having fulfilled those requirements, the graduate may receive a full license to practice.

Entrance examination

BASIC INFORMATION FOR CANDIDATES

 

The additional entrance exam will take place on August 22, 2019 in Lublin, Poland. 

[Taking the exam in a different place or online is impossible]

 

Each candidate should arrive at the examination venue at least 30 minutes before the commencement of the examination.

To be allowed into the exam, candidates should have a valid, photo ID (passport, driver’s license, etc.) and your “CANDIDATE’S ID number” provided by the on-line admission system.

 

 If you paid and your application isn’t marked as complete, please bring your payment confirmation for the exam.

 

No additional time will be granted for those who are late.

Please make sure you arrive at the right place: the address of the entrance examination is ul. Chodźki 4a (Collegium Pharmaceuticum), Lecture Hall at the ground floor [Directions].

1.The entrance examination consists of 100 MCQ questions:

 

  • biology – 40,
  • mathematics/physics/chemistry– 30.

2. Each question has 5 answers, but only one is correct.

 

3. The maximum points is 300- every positive answer is 3 points.

 

4. The examination lasts 45 minutes for each subject:

 

  • Biology starts at 9.00
  • Chemistry starts at 10.00
  • Physics starts 12.00
  • Mathematics starts 1.00 pm

 

5. Candidate, who is late more than 15 minutes for a particular part will not be allowed to sit for examination.

 

6. Candidates are permitted to take the following items into examination:

- pens and pencils

- water

- basic calculator

 

8. Candidates are not permitted to take the following items into examination:

- advanced calculator

- bags (including handbags)

- wallets

- food

- mobile phones, mp3 players and other electronic devices, watches

- books or any dictionaries
