Experimental Medicine Center of Medical University of Lublin obtained the Certificate of Good Laboratory Practice (registration number 24/2020/DPL of 2 December 2020) in the field of environmental toxicity in relation to aquatic and terrestrial organisms (ecotoxicity) and was entered in the List of certified research units at number 26.

By Council of Ministers Resolution of 3 November 2015, the Medical University of Lublin obtained financing for the multiannual Programme for redevelopment and expansion of the Independent Clinical Hospital No. 1 (SPSK 1) in Lublin. The investment task, the total value of which is 289 million PLN, is to be carried out between 2016 and 2022.
The architectural competition for the design of a new sport and event hall of the Medical University of Lublin has been adjudicated. The announcement of the verdict took place on Tuesday, 27th October. A total of twelve designs were submitted to the competition. The winning entry was the one designed by Buszkiewicz Architekci company from Poznań.
Lublin, with its first chronicle dating back to 11th century, takes pride in having five universities with the total number of students reaching almost 100,000.
