EBM Guidelines - a unique database of primary care guidelines
EBM Guidelines (Evidence-Based Medicine Guidelines) is a high quality collection of primary hcare guidelines rooted in a combination of clinical practice and verifiable evidence.
Regularly updated EBM guidelines follow the current clinical medicine achievements and use the evidence in healthcare practice. The database is available for MUL until the end of 2023 courtesy of the publisher - Duodecim Publishing Company Ltd. Database tutorials and training may be provided if needed.
Regularly updated EBM guidelines follow the current clinical medicine achievements and use the evidence in healthcare practice. EBM Guidelines contains:
- nearly 1000 concise primary care guidelines
- over 3500 verified pieces of evidence supporting the guidelines
- elaborate indexing and search tools including MeSH and UMLS enabling fast and effective searching
- regularly updated collection of videos (currently over 60) showing clinical examination, procedures, and ultrasound imaging
- a collection of 1400 high quality picutres, including ophthalmology and dermatology images
- sound samples included with the articles on relevant topics such as lung disorders and heart murmurs in infants
- full texts of Cochrane regular reviews cited in EBM guidelines
- tools to calculate BMI, peak expiratory flow, and other parameters
