The Medical University of Lublin undertakes to ensure the accessibility of the website  https://www.umlub.pl/en/ in accordance with the Act of 4th April, 2019 on the digital accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public entities. The statement of accessibility applies to the main website of the Medical University of Lublin.

  • some graphic elements do not contain an alternative text,

  • some links published on the website may be incorrectly tagged,

  • some video materials do not have subtitles and audio description,

  • on some subpages the structure of headings is incomplete or they have been placed in the wrong hierarchy.

 

Exclusions:

 

  • maps are excluded from the obligation to ensure accessibility,

  • videos were published before the entry into force of the Act on Digital Accessibility.

Everyone has the right to demand that the digital accessibility of a website or a mobile application or any of their elements be ensured.

 

Information may also be requested through alternative means of access, e.g. by reading a digitally non-accessible document, describing the content of a video without audio description, etc. The request should contain:

 

  • the identity of the person making the request,

  • the identification of the website or mobile application concerned

Building: Collegium Novum, Racławickie Avenue 1, 20-059 Lublin

 

The main entrance to the building and the entrance at the back of the building are adapter to the needs of persons with physical disabilities. Both places have space for free movement. Next to the stairs leading to the main entrance, there is a platform for disabled persons.

 

There is a 24-hour reception in the main hall. Access to the lecture hall on the ground floor from the main hall is possible by means of a platform stairlift. Access to all floors of the building is provided by a public elevator. There is an accessible toilet for people with physical disabilities on each floor.

  

There is 1 designated and appropriately marked parking space for disabled persons in the car park next to the building. Exit from the parking lot is organized by means of an induction loop.

Building: Collegium Maximum, Staszica Street 4-6, 20-081 Lublin

 

The entrance to the building for people with physical disabilities is available from the outdoor parking lot located inside the facility premises. There is a 24-hour reception at the main entrance.

 

There is an elevator in the building enabling access to all floors, except for the basement and some rooms in staircase C of the building. The passageways, designed in accordance with the requirements, allow free movement around the building. There is a toilet for disabled persons on each floor.

 

There are no designated parking spaces for disabled persons in the outdoor parking lot located inside the facility premises. Such designated parking spaces are available in the paid parking zone located in the immediate vicinity of the building.

Building: Collegium Medicum, Radziwiłłowska Street 11, 20-080 Lublin

The main entrance to the building is adapted to the needs of disabled persons. Next to the stairs leading to the main entrance, there is a ramp for disabled persons.

 

There is a 24-hour reception in the main hall. Access to all floors of the building is provided by a public elevator. The elevator in the building can be reached by means of a wheelchair platform in the main hall. There is a toilet for disabled persons on each floor. There are intercoms in front of the entrance to each unit located in the building.

 

There are no designated places for disabled persons in the parking lot inside the premises of the Collegium Medicum building. Such designated parking spaces are available in the paid parking zone located on Radziwiłłowska street in the immediate vicinity of the building.

Building: Collegium Maius/Anatomicum, Jaczewskiego Street 4, 20-090 Lublin

 

There are 4 entrances to the building, one of which has a door sill about 3 cm high. The remaining entrances are adapter to the needs of people with physical disabilities and equipped with ramps. There are 2 receptions in the main hall of the building, which operate 24 hours.

 

Access to all floors of the building is provided by 3 public elevators. There is a separate toilet for disabled persons, located on level 0.

 

A parking space for disabled persons is located right next to the building. There is a direct driveway to the main entrance to the Collegium Maius building. There is a direct driveway to the main entrance of Collegium Maius building.

Building: Collegium Pathologicum, Jaczewskiego Street 8b, 20-090 Lublin

 

The building has eight entrances partially equipped with intercoms and access control. The main entrance is available for public purposes. For teaching purposes there is additionally an entrance from the parking lot and 2 entrances from the back of the SPSK hospital No.4. The rest of the building has access control, and the entrance is provided by a proximity card reader or intercom.

 

In the public area, the building has halls on four levels. There is a 24-hour reception in the fall on the ground floor at the main entrance. Access to all floors of the building is provided by a public elevator. There are toilets for disabled persons in the building.

 

There are ramps in front of the main entrance and the entrance from the parking lot to the Independent Medical Biology Unit from the parking lot.

 

The exit of cars from the local parking lot is carried out by means of an induction loop. There is 1 designated parking space for disabled persons in the local parking lot, marked with vertical and horizontal signs.

Building: Experimental Medicine Center, Jaczewskiego Street 8d, 20-090 Lublin

 

The main entrance to the building is open to public, equipped with a ramp for disabled persons. The other 2 entrances are available for employees only. There is a 24-hour reception in the main hall. The building is equipped with an intercom and an access control system.

 

Due to the nature of the building, i.e. scientific and breeding activities on laboratory animals and the separation of appropriate zones, access to them is limited only to employees of the Center and scientists.

 

In the facility there is a toilet for disabled persons, equipped with an alert notification system and emergency call system.

 

There is a parking space for disabled persons in the immediate vicinity of the main entrance.

 

Access to the building with an assistance dog is limited due to the breeding of laboratory animals in SPF system and the risk of biological hazards.

Building: Collegium Universum, Chodźki Street 1, 20-093 Lublin

 

The main entrance to the building is adapter to the needs of disabled persons and is equipped with a ramp. There is space around the entrance that allows free movement. There is a paved surface and it is properly sloped.

 

There are elements to facilitate orientation in the building, i.e. directions marked at all junctions (e.g. intersections of passageways in the building) and marking of places at logical points, i.e. in places where the moment of choosing a further path takes place, and a change in the direction of movement. Information signs are placed on or next to the door at eye level. There are intercoms in front of the entrance to each unit located in the building.

 

The building has 2 elevators that are not specially adapter for the needs of disabled persons. There are 4 toilets for disabled persons in the building.

 

There is 1 designated and appropriately marked parking spaces for disabled persons in the parking lot next to the building.

Building: Medical Simulation Center, Chodźki Street 4, 20-093 Lublin 

 

Entrances to the building are adapted to the needs of persons with disabilities. There is a paved walking surface. In front of the building there is a ramp with handrails on both sides.

 

In the building, there is space that allows free movement. There is a 24-hour reception in the main hall at the entrance.

 

Access to all floors in the building is provided by elevators adapter to the needs of persons with disabilities. The stairs have the edges of the steps marked by change in their texture and shade.

 

There is a clock and information about the function of a given room on each floor. Information signs are placed on or next to the door (at eye level of a leaning person or a person in a wheelchair) to the rooms and in dedicated zones with the use of large and contrasting signs. The existing system of visual identification (signs and pictograms) respects possible limitations of the users. There are toilets for disabled persons in the building.

 

The building is equipped with an evacuation chair for people with disabilities.

 

Induction loops are used at the parking lot exits. Parking spaces for persons with disabilities are indicated by horizontal and vertical markings.

Building: Collegium Pharmaceuticum, Chodźki Street 4a, 20-093 Lublin

 

There is space around the main entrance to the building that allows free movement. On the right of the main entrance to the building there is a wheelchair ramp.

 

In the main hall there is a 24-hour reception. Access to all floors of the building (from level -1 to 4) is provided by elevators. There are intercoms in front of the entrance to each unit located in the building. There are toilets for disabled persons in the building.

 

In the Chair and Department of Biology and Genetics located in the building, the microscope laboratory was supplemented with tables with electronic height adjustment, a microscope with a high-resolution screen and joysticks to regulate the movement of the analyzed specimen. By means of a dedicated computer software, an interactive, personalized interaction between the teacher and each student is possible. This solution meets the needs of visually impaired and hearing impaired persons.

 

Next to the building there are 2 parking spaces for disabled persons, marked with horizontal and vertical signs and road marking (the so-called “envelope”).

Building: Collegium Academicum , Chodźki Street 7, 20-093 Lublin

 

The main entrance to the building is located on the paved ground level, with no stairs. There is a 24-hour reception in the main hall.

 

On each floor, it is possible to move freely through the corridors. Access to floors -1 to 4 is provided by an elevator adapted for disabled persons.

 

In the foreign language room, as part of its adaptation to the needs of disabled persons, 4 computer sets with specialized keyboards were purchased. The room is soundproofed with acoustic panels. An induction loop has been installed.

 

Next to the building there are 2 parking spaces for disabled persons, marked with vertical sign and horizontal blue marking (the so-called “envelope”).

Access to the floors of the building is possible only by stairs through a door closed with an electric lock that a janitor opens. In the whole building there are door closers mounted on the doors.

There are 2 staircases in the building. An elevated corridor (4 steps) leads to one of them (on the ground floor).

 

In the parking lot next to the building there are 2 parking spaces designated for disabled persons marked with vertical and horizontal signs.

The main entrance to the building is located on the side of the outdoor parking lot and accessible from its level. The space provides the opportunity to move freely.

In close proximity to the side entrance to the building, from level -1, 2 parking spaces are available for people with disabilities.

 

The parking spaces for people with disabilities are marked with horizontal and vertical signs in blue.


A 24-hour reception desk is located in the main lobby.


Access to floors above and below the first floor is provided by two public elevators with audio sound systems.


A restroom for people with mobility impairments is available on each level.  


The hall is equipped with an evacuation chair for people with disabilities.


It is possible to enter the facility with an assistance dog (based on the Law on Vocational and Social Rehabilitation and Employment of Persons with Disabilities).

The entrance for disabled persons is located at the back of the building from the parking lot side. It leads directly to the elevator. The entrance is equipped with a small ramp.

On the ground floor there is a toilet for disabled persons. Near the building there is 1 parking space dedicated to disabled persons.
